I'm still smoking. I've cut down but I still backslide way too easily. I only have two weeks left here in Sacratomato. I'm ready to move on and move back.
As I watched the Passing of an Icon, Michael Jackson, I experienced a set of emotions as only my generation would. He was MY generation. Strange to say but it was a kinder, gentler time. A taste of my own mortality. Second taste as I had dropped so much weight that I worried about my health. (I'm fine, so far, knock on wood and I don't mean my head!)
Life goes on.
I remain driven. I am resolved to tell my story and make a living at doing it. Ahem for now, I work the swing shift doing what I DON'T love. Just a job. I do my best. It's my nature that I after I get over some deluded hubris, that I do my best at whatever I choose.
Now doing your best at what you love? That's how it done.
If you are young. Go to where the action and get in there. Paper counts. If you want paper you need a degree. I'll go in this september so I'll have a full plate because I won't stop working my epic and doing whatever I can to break into comics.
If you have a story in mind. Work on it. Nurture it and unleash it when you're ready. (Unless you're a professional than time is money!)
Nothing big, same-o, same-o. Balled Kallilee, thanks for checking in on me.
Can't say I'm sorry for getting on my soapbox but thanks for listening.
Stay Cool!

Also be warned, Rob...you may see some pics from me of TRANSFORMERS which inspired me to create 2 separate teams of them. 1st team: based on animals which fly. 2nd team: Thieves.
I HAVE NOT DRAWN BOTH TEAMS SINCE 1999 so be ready to cringe.

I look forward to more of THM. I have to admit, Twilight has brought me stole me away from werewolves. Of course I was jaded by Kate Beckensall.
Because I work the swing shift I get home late. Since I get home late I stay up late and watch the transformers. My request is for you to draw Sari and Bulkhead, my two favorite transformers. Oh draw the new ones. The old storyline was cool with an ending that broke the budget on 3d animation but the new ones are more loveable! I love your idea for a different kind of transformer. Should be fun.
Cringe? Only if you stop creating!

I have been writing more of the chapters & adding a lot to it. I plan to borrow
the first books of the TWILIGHT & ERAGON series to just be in the know. I like
werewolves, yet if I can't draw something cheerful I draw vampires. Never heard
of her before, Rob.
It's so hard to go back to draw your old drawings. I have 2 VHS of the old TRANSFORMERS
and my mom doesn't get why I like them so much. I may have quite a hunt on my hands to
find pics of Sari & Bulkhead. Hm I just might as well do it for practice. I loved the
old storyline, and I could actually relate to the Autobots. I love how Bumblebee got a
helmet which looks like a bee's head & the car doors look like wings! I have created
both of my TRANSFORMERS OC teams in 1999. One of the Airmaximals (I REALLY SHOULD CHANGE THE NAME)
is a former bad transformer named Jaws who is a velescirapter. I'm sure it will be loads of fun.
Cringe since I haven't drawn them in so long = boxy shapes. I will never stop creating, Rob!
I think it's pretty cool we both love to draw, love to write stories, manga, & TRANSFORMERS.
